The Big Apple
February 2018 was incredible. For the first time in my life I got the opportunity to go to New York, and stay right around the corner from Times Square, and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
I was scared to go at first because I'm not the most social of butterflies and i didn't know anyone going so I was a little nervous about
the room situation. Luckily, I was the odd number so I got a double room to myself which calmed my nerves a lot. I quickly relaxed over the week and threw myself into the new culture and explored. I loved the buildings in New York the most, they were so incredibly huge it was almost not real, they made me feel so tiny and like I could blend in with the ground.
I decided to focus on the buildings photographically, the colours and angles were so bold and i really liked how they turned out in the end.
