The New Forest

My happy place. i spent a lot of my childhood in The New Forest and it has a very special place in my heart, my grandparents have a holiday house down there that we like to use. I realise more and more as I grow up that I am so lucky to have this place, its been a place that i can escape to, its safe. I have always wanted to go and shoot here as it is so special

to me, so this was a perfect project to do it on. For uni we have had to do a "Narrative" project that conveys a message. I wanted to return to my grandparents holiday house in the late autumn to see how different it is to the summer, how i see it. very. Its an almost abandoned village (Milford on Sea) that has a tiny population, and the population it does have is full of old people that sit and wait for fish and chips or sit in the pub with their friends, other than that I don't know what else they could possibly  be doing, but I enjoyed this. I saw all of the put away summer equipment and although it wasn't as lively I still felt as if it was my safe place, my happy place.
